Celebrating Marriage as a Sacred Covenant in Islam
Marriage in Islam is not merely a contract — it is an act of worship, a source of mercy, and a foundation for family and community life. It is a bond through which love, tranquillity, and mutual responsibility are cultivated, and through which faith is strengthened.
At the Independent Islamic Court, we honour the sanctity and joy of marriage by facilitating Nikaahs that are conducted with dignity, clarity, and full adherence to Islamic principles. Our services are designed to support couples at every stage — from preparation and understanding, to the solemnisation of the Nikaah itself.
Allah ﷻ describes marriage as a sign from Him, a means of comfort and affection between spouses. We aim to uphold this divine wisdom by ensuring that every Nikaah is conducted correctly, respectfully, and with sincere intention.
NIKAAH SERVICES
We conduct Islamic Nikaahs in accordance with Shar‘i requirements, ensuring:
- Clear consent from both parties
- Presence of witnesses
- A valid wali where required
- Proper declaration and acceptance
- Guidance on the mahr and its conditions
